Election Tuesday

All eligible voters are reminded to show up and vote at the presidential primary election next Tuesday. In an unusual twist of election fate, the vote in Wisconsin actually means something this time around. My best guess is that Republicans have finally figured out now is the time to stop the infighting. Romney should carry the state and go on to capture the GOP nomination.

As chairman, he had a reputation for honesty, integrity and fairness that carried way beyond the boundaries of Barron County.

I'm sure our readers expect a comment from us on last week's school board refer-endum, which resulted in a split decision from district electors. The request to ex-ceed revenue caps by $790,000 on a recurring basis was defeated 828-708. The climate control proposition passed 815-726.
