Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will lead a delegation of elected and business officials at a groundbreaking ceremony for the Poskin-based Superior Silica Sands frac sand drying and transfer yard at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Rick Shearer, CEO of the Texas-based company that already owns and runs a sand yard near New Auburn and a mine in the Town of Arland, said the ceremony would take place beneath a tent on the sand yard site, now under construction near the intersection of U.S. Highway 8 and 10 1/2 Avenue, just east of Poskin.
