Two treated for injuries after Labor Day crash

 A two-vehicle collision late Monday afternoon, Sept. 2, 2019, between Barron and Cameron, resulted in heavy damage to at least one of the cars involved, and unspecified injuries to two people, according to information from Barron County Dispatch logs. The crash took place at 3:40 p.m. Sept. 2 at the corner of 19th Street (Airport Road) and 13 ½-14th Ave. (County Hwy. W), about half a mile west of Cameron. There was heavy damage to a 2005 Toyota Camry, and both airbags deployed. Marshfield Clinic Medical Center Ambulance transported two people to the Rice Lake hospital, according to dispatch logs. At least one of the vehicles was taken from the scene by a towing service. Cameron-based S&R Towing took the Camry to its yard.
