A convicted sex offender will be released to live near Haugen beginning Wednesday, Nov. 16, according to the Barron County Sheriff’s Department.
Heath Gullickson, who was convicted in 2019 of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child-child enticement will reside at 1832 29 3/4 Ave., north of Haugen.
Gullickson remains on extended supervision, and must have no contact with anyone under age 18. He is also forbidden from consuming or possessing drugs or alcohol.
According to the sheriff’s department, “His criminal history places him in a classification level, which reflects the potential to re-offend.
“This sex offender has served the sentence imposed on him by the courts. He is not wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear. It is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.
“Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered offenders will not be tolerated and will be considered a criminal offense.”
Gullickson is 45 years old. He is 5-foot-9 and about 132 pounds. He is described as having hazel eyes and a shaved head.
