Rita M. Forsyth, 71, Aurora, Colo., a beloved friend, sister, mother and grandmother, passed away at her home on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022.
She was born at Barron, Wis., on Oct. 17, 1950, to Anthony and Rose Klingelhoets.
Growing up, and throughout her life, she worked in real estate. She held many jobs in retail and customer service, as well as running her own cleaning business for over 25 years. She had a strong work ethic, took pride in paying attention to detail and trying to make others happy, often putting others before herself.
She loved her faith, could never get enough books to read, and watched Lifetime and Hallmark movies. Rita loved cooking and cuddling with her cat "Charlie." She also loved spending time with her granddaughters, Taryn and Sierra, whom she adored.
Surviving are a daughter Desirae (Joel) Glentzer of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; granddaughters Taryn and Sierra Glentzer; brothers Steve Klingelhoets of Barron, Joe (Pat) Klingelhoets of Mikana and Allen Klingelhoets of Barron; and a sister Arla (Darrin) Falk and family of Menomonie.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband Les; her parents; brothers Thomas and Andrew Klingelhoets; and a sister Linda Dreyer.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life with a memorial service at Horan and McConaty, Aurora, Colo., at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16.
