Rev. Charles Jerry Cederholm, 77, died March 7, 2018.
Charles grew up in the Ellsworth, Wis., area, attending Ellsworth High School and graduating from University of Wisconsin River Falls in 1961.
Charles taught school in Spooner for two years before entering ministry with the United Methodist Church.
He married Mary Helen Jones on Sept. 23, 1961.
Charles served First United Methodist Church of Barron from 1981-1991. He was an active member of the Barron community, serving as Kiwanis Club president from 1985-86.
After retiring in 2003, Charles and Mary Helen moved to Flagstaff, Ariz., to be with their son Mark Tomas. Charles had Parkinson’s disease and was active in a support group when they first moved to Flagstaff.
An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, he was proud of his memorabilia and his stock in the team. He was known for his cheerful outlook on life.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son Mark; brothers Darryld (Becky) and Jerald (Patricia); a sister Debra Wright (David); and numerous nephews and nieces.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, from Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls.
