Delores B. Moore, 84, rural Cameron, Wis., died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire.
She was born Delores Ruth Bartsch on May 8, 1935, to Robert and Minnie (Brandt) Bartsch in the Town of Sumner, Barron County. She attended Greenwood Country School and later Cameron High School, graduating in 1953.
On July 3, 1954, she married Robert Moore at Pine City, Minn. As was the custom then, she dropped her middle name and used the initial B, representing her maiden name.
The Triune God was her refuge and strength. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cameron, and loved helping with their Sunday school.
She enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and also visited Europe with her siblings. She enjoyed flowers and working in her flowerbeds, sewing, reading, talking and visiting with her many friends.
Surviving are a son Robert Jr. (Cheryl) of Roseville, Minn.; a daughter Crystal Moore of Cameron; a granddaughter Katherine Rose (Clarence) Dunn of Roseville; a sister Eloma “Joy” Bartsch of Cameron; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on July 16, 2003; a daughter Barbara Gail Moore; a brother Alvin Bartsch; and sisters Germaine Bartsch, Roberta Weiss and Dorla Graczyk.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, from St. John’s Lutheran Church, with Rev. Tylan Dalrymple officiating and interment at the Sumner Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday from Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home, Cameron, and an hour prior to services at the church.
