Mary Ann (Heffner) Tvedt, 89, ascended to be with her Lord on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Monroe Manor, Barron, Wis.
She was born Oct. 7, 1933, in rural Chetek to Willard and Margaret (Balog) Heffner, joining two older brothers, Robert and Ralph “Bill." She regularly came home on the weekends, and on one of those trips, she was introduced to Russell Tvedt through friends. They married on March 22, 1958.
She later spent years greeting customers and helping them as a teller at the Bank of Barron (now Sterling Bank).
Surviving are many nieces and nephews, as well as longtime friends Judy Johnson-McCabe and Marg Campbell.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and both brothers.
