Mary E. Nedland, 57, Prairie Farm, Wis., died Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home.
She was born Aug. 22, 1961, to David and Donna (Abbuehl) Abramson at Amery.
On Dec. 15, 1979, she married David Nedland at Prairie Farm. Mary went on to pursue a career in nursing. She later attained her master’s degree and became a nursing instructor with WITC until her retirement in 2017.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who gave her much joy. She and David also enjoyed traveling to many places, however, Disney was very much Mary’s passion and they were sure to visit Disney World whenever their travels brought them near the park.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter Shanda (Andrew) Harrington; sons Cory (Crystal) of Prairie Farm, Christopher (Michelle) of Chetek and Anthony (Jessica) of Baldwin; her father David (Marilyn) Abramson of Woodbury, Minn.; grandchildren Madison, Kennedy, Jackson, Anastasia, Zoey, Blake, Kiara, Ariana, Alexa and Logan; a sister Karin (Abdulreda) Al-Baghly of Kuwait; brothers Mark Abramson (Deysta) of Lake Elmo, Minn., and Kurt (Laura) Abramson of Phoenix, Ariz.; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother; a brother Ryan Holten; and her grandparents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, from United Lutheran Church, Prairie Farm, with Rev. Erin Koster officiating and interment at Sunset Cemetery, Town of Prairie Farm.
Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. Thursday, both at the church.
Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas and Cameron, are handling arrangements.
