A search warrant executed Sept. 20, 2018, in Barron, by members of four separate police agencies, has resulted in multiple drug-related charges against three city residents, Barron County Circuit Court documents said.

A complaint filed Sept. 24 identifies the defendants as Tyler T. Dushinske, 33, Angela L. Stokes, 41, and Jess A. Stokes, 36, all of 110 E. River Ave., Barron.

The warrant search was executed by detectives and deputies with the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, as well as officers and investigators from the City of Barron and the sheriff’s departments of Polk and Rusk counties.

The search was arranged after an alleged drug buy on Sept. 12, in which a police informant bought just over two and one-half grams of methamphetamine at the River Avenue home.

Police found the three defendants at the home when the search began. Found in the course of the investigation were marijuana, various quantities of meth in crystalline and pill form, the prescription drug Alprazolam, glass pipes and plastic bags.

At the time of the incident, Angela Stokes had previous felony convictions on her record from 2014 in Polk County.

The complaint charges defendant Angela Stokes with maintaining a drug trafficking place; possession of meth, second and/or subsequent offense; possession of marijuana; three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Defendant Tyler Dushinske was charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia.

The complaint charges defendant Jess Stokes with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
