Members of the Barron County Board of Supervisors Highway Committee will hold a public hearing at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at Barron, on four proposed bridge replacement projects in the Bell Press circulation area.

The meeting will take place at the Highway Department office, 260 N. Seventh St., Barron.

According to the agenda, the meeting will include a presentation and public discussion of four bridge replacement projects scheduled for construction in 2020. The public is encouraged to attend and offer comments on the projects.

Included in construction plans are a bridge over the Hay River on 17th Avenue in the town of Clinton, the Dorrity Creek Bridge in the town of Prairie Farm, on 9 ½-10 ½ Street, a bridge over Rock Creek at 28th Street in the town of Sumner, and Barron County Hwy. D over Four Mile Creek, town of Maple Grove.

Members of the committee include supervisors Jim Gores, Dist. 9, village of Almena and town of Clinton; Dale Heinecke, Dist. 29, towns of Maple Plain and Lakeland; Roberta Mosentine, Dist. 11, city of Barron; Marv Thompson, Dist. 20, city of Rice Lake; and Donald Horstman, committee chair, Dist. 26, towns of Cumberland and Stanfold.
