Local officials headed to Madison

Two local officiating crews will work state championship football games this week at the University of Wisconsin’s Camp Randall in Madison. Pictured above, Clark Tolithz, brothers Jeff, Rick and Tim Prince, and Travis Logslett will work the Div. 7 title game between Edgar (13-0) and Blackhawk (12-0) at 10 a.m. Thursday. Tim, Jeff and Rick’s mother is Ronadon McDonald of Barron. Also, the crew of Tom Moon, Wayne Czyscon, Ty Rogers, Mike Breed and Scott Tahtinen will officiate the Div. 3 championship between Catholic Memorial (12-1) and West De Pere (13-0) at 10 a.m. Friday. Other title games include: Div. 6 – Iola-Scandinavia (13-0) vs. Racine Lutheran (11-2) at 1 p.m. Thursday; Div. 5 – Saint Mary’s Springs (13-0) vs. Stratford (11-2) at 4 p.m. Thursday; Div. 4 – Racine St. Catherine’s (13-0) vs. St. Croix Central (13-0) at 7 p.m. Thursday; Div. 2 – Brookfield Central (12-1) vs. Homestead (13-0) at 1 p.m. Friday; and Div. 1 – Kimberly (12-1) vs. Muskego (13-0) at 4 p.m. Friday. In local state semifinal games last week, Rice Lake fell 35-14 to West De Pere in Div. 3, St. Croix Central defeated Little Chute 48-25 in Div. 4, and Grantsburg lost a tight 27-25 game to Iola-Scandinavia in Div. 6.
